The process includes melting glass with a blowtorch\, shaping it into a ball on a small glass stick (punt)\, spinning it to round it\, using graphite molds\, adding colored glass dots for patterns\, and cooling it in a controlled oven. Guides often explain the details\, such as the “mark” left where the marble is removed from the punty\, and the high temperatures involved (up to 2000°F during shaping)  \nMarble Games & SkillsAfter the making demonstration\, participants learn to play traditional marbles. Older kids are taught the “knuckle down” technique\, while younger ones try a “soccer kick” to move marbles into the center.
