ASL 2 Students are encouraged to attend. \nTimeline: \n\nArrival: 10:15 am\nStart time: 10:30 am\nDuration: 1 hour\, with free museum tour before or after\nLunch opportunities: Bring or grab a lunch to enjoy at the nearby Mill Creek Park (320 E Poplar St\, Olathe\, KS 66061)\n\n Cost: \n\nAll Ages: $9 per person\n\n  \nAvailable tickets: 60 \n  \nParking: Behind the building off of Emery St. \nField Trip Description: \nThe Immersive “Hands-On” Workshop offers an enriching and immersive experience in an American Sign Language-rich environment led by Deaf Docents. This program introduces participants to the Deaf Community\, its culture and languages as well as bridge the language gap between the Deaf and non-Deaf communities by promoting shared signing communities for all.  \nAfter the Hands-On workshop\, take time to tour the museum (about an hour depending on your child’s attention span). Our ASL teachers\, Ashley Reed and Amanda Macaluso will be on hand to answer questions.  \nDeadline to register and pay for this field trip is September 30th.  No exceptions.  If your payment is not received by the deadline\, your name will be removed from the registration list and you will not attend the field trip.   \nDisclaimer: Please remember!
