Compassion Volunteer Event

What: Attend the Casting Crown’s “The Very Next Thing Tour” while helping to make the difference in the lives of children around the world as handout volunteer for Compassion!
When: October 12th, we will meet at LBC by 4:30pm and will carpool to the event.
Where: St. Joseph Civic Arena, 100 N 4th St, St Joseph, MO 64501
Cost: The concert is free for Compassion Event Volunteers. The students will be eating dinner at Chick-fil-a before the event and will need to bring cash for their meal.
Ages: This volunteer opportunity is designed for 7th-12th grade LCA students
Limit: 20 people, this includes three adult chaperones.
Description: Be part of something truly remarkable – volunteer with Compassion at an upcoming Casting Crowns-Zach Williams concert. Help connect children with sponsors and make an amazing difference. As a Handout Volunteer, you will help pass out child packets to the audience during the Compassion presentation at the event. In some instances, you may distribute other materials as well. This role also gives you the opportunity to answer basic questions about Compassion and child sponsorship.
Volunteer Details
- Ages 12-15 must have permission from a Parent or Legal Guardian, and a Parent or Legal Guardian must be present and volunteering alongside them.
- Ages 16-17 must have permission from a Parent or Legal Guardian, and can participate alone or with a group without a parent or legal guardian present.
- Parent or Legal Guardian must electronically sign Compassion’s Volunteer Agreement & Release and Waiver of Liability on behalf of all minors.
