Length of performance : Approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes with one 20 minute intermission
Ages: Age 7 through 12th grade. No exceptions. Please do not register any student under age 7. This Field Trip is for students only. Please do not register an adult. LCA leadership will provide chaperones.
***The KC Ballet is very firm in their desire that the performance be for as many students as possible and asks us to place a strict limit on adults. It is their prerogative to do so, and we want to cooperate. Parents — thank you for your understanding!
LCA will designate chaperones. Parents will bring your student(s) into the building, check in with a LCA chaperone, then return to pick your student(s) up approximately 2 and 1/2 hours later. A specific indoor location will be provided at a later date.
Parking: The first 30 minutes in the garage are free. You will have free parking when dropping off your student(s) and again when picking up.
Cost: $13/ticket
Deadline to register AND pay is October 19, 2016.

In 2015 Kansas City Ballet launched an All-New “The Nutcracker” and broke box office records and received critical acclaim! The classic, Victorian-era story by E.T.A. Hoffman featuring Clara, the Prince and Dr. Drosselmeier completely reimagined with exquisite costumes by Holly Hynes, grand sets by Alain Vaës and captivating choreography by Artistic Director Devon Carney.
