Brief Description: Join fellow LCA families at The Shawnee Indian Mission on Friday March 28th at 10:00am. The Shawnee Mission is a 12-acre National Historic Landmark. It was established as a manual training school attended by children from Shawnee, Delaware, and other Indian nations from 1839 to 1862. It also served as a supply point on the Santa Fe and Oregon Trails, and a camp for Union soldiers during the Civil War.

Where: Shawnee Indian Mission, 3403 W 53rd, Fairway Street, Fairway, KS 66205

Ages: Open to all ages

Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for parking and check-in.

Lunch: Families can bring their lunches to enjoy fellowship after the field trip.

Admission Fees: Price per person: $2.50

Deadline to register for this field trip is, March 12th, 2025.
