Brief Description: Join fellow LCA families at The Shawnee Indian Mission on Friday March 28th at 10:00am. The Shawnee Mission is a 12-acre National Historic Landmark. It was established as a manual training school attended by children from Shawnee, Delaware, and other Indian nations from 1839 to 1862. It also served as a supply point on the Santa Fe and Oregon Trails, and a camp for Union soldiers during the Civil War.

Ages: Open to all ages
Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for parking and check-in.
Lunch: Families can bring their lunches to enjoy fellowship after the field trip.
